TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
TabTrade - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
